Troost's has a way of bringing you on his adventure through the South Pacific. Laugh out loud funny is the best way to describe this tale. If you want to get away without the packing or actual leaving, then this is a highly need book in your collection.

fun light hearted escape

A fun light hearted escape to the South Pacific. Makes me want to hop on a sailboat and set sail. Enjoy the Kava, beware of the Cannibals

Interesting....

I love the way both Getting Stoned & Sex Lives are written. I find the humor enjoyable & entertaining. A personal view into life on a South Pacific Island!

good trips

Not exactly Rick Steves, but a delightful walk (trip) through the South Pacific. I have enjoyed all three of his Travel books!
