SFC APPLICATION PROCESS:

Proposals are by invitation only. SFC Charitable Foundation, Inc. does not accept unsolicited requests. We have a two-stage application process:

First stage:
If you think your project fits our guidelines, please submit a one page letter of interest describing your organization and your project to:

These initial letters of interest may be submitted at any time and are reviewed on an ongoing basis. You will be notified by card or by phone whether your organization or program matches SFC’s guidelines and meets its criteria for funding. If your request is selected for further consideration, you will be invited to submit a proposal which should be no longer than four pages in length. No full grant proposals will be reviewed without the initial approval of an organization’s letter of interest except by invitation from a Board member or the Director. Grants of $1,000.00 and less may be awarded on the basis of the letter of interest without requiring a full proposal.

IMPORTANT! Please do not send additional backup materials, books, videos or cassettes with the letter of interest, as they will not be reviewed and cannot be returned.

Second stage:
In your proposal, please include the specific information listed in Proposal Requirements - without it, we can not consider your request. The narrative portion of your proposal, or the description of the project to be funded, should be no longer than four pages in length. (Please conserve when possible by using both sides of pages and avoiding plastic covers -- thank you!)
