Started in 2024, this annual day of service celebrates Jimmy Buffett’s life and legacy all Labor Day Weekend. Margaritaville locations globally give back to their communities with charitable giving, volunteering, special events, fundraising, and more.

Margaritaville properties including hotels, resorts, restaurants, cruise, communities, home office, vendors, and partners participate in the Jimmy Buffett Day celebration raising thousands of dollars for charity and hundreds of volunteer hours logged.

Singing for Change is a non-profit organization created by Jimmy Buffett in 1995. The charitable organization supports inclusive, grassroots operations, large and small, that inspire personal growth, community integration, and the enhanced awareness that collectively, people can bring about positive change. The foundation promotes work on the forefront of social change - helping people and communities become smarter, safer, stronger, healthier, and whole.

From our Margaritaville Florida Specialty License Plates to our annual Jimmy Buffett Day, from merchandise sales to sports events, Margaritaville is always looking for ways to support the good work of Singing for Change.

All Hands and Hearts is an organization committed to effectively and efficiently addressing the immediate and long-term needs of global communities impacted by disasters. All Hands and Hearts arrives early for first response and stays late to rebuild schools and homes in a disaster-resilient way.

Margaritaville has partnered with All Hands and Hearts on several natural disaster relief events in recent years, including hurricane and flood recovery in several areas.

When summer rolls around, you can expect SummerTime to Give to be in full swing. Created to fill the gap of giving during summer months, SummerTime to Give aims to spread sunshine and good times to children in need by partnering with organizations like Boys and Girls Club of America and Ronald McDonald House to fulfill wish list needs.

Annually, many of our Margaritaville locations and Latitude Margaritaville communities collect summer toys and gifts to share with children in their local communities.

Give Kids the World Village is an 89-acre, whimsical nonprofit resort in Kissimmee, Florida, that provides weeklong, cost-free wish vacations to children with critical illnesses and their families from around the world who want to visit Central Florida.

Many of our Margaritaville locations regularly volunteer and organize charitable initiatives to help fund the work of Give Kids the World.

Environmental Sustainability

Lather provides clean, cruelty-free products made with 100% recycled ocean-bound plastic collected from areas within 30 miles of the coast where waste management systems are lacking. By repurposing this plastic, we actively prevent it from polluting our oceans. The products from Lather offer the perfect balance of luxury, wellness, and environmental responsibility.

Margaritaville Hotels & Resorts guest room amenity items, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, and moisturizer, are made with recycled ocean-bound plastic from Lather.
